Nice show. Getting parked is very organized. Check out the older boats and equipment while walking the trail to the waterfront. Plan to be patient when leaving, it's slow going until you get to the parking garage lot.
A wonderful, entertaining, funny( for kids, at least...) And impressive show. The workers are extremely nice and overall there is a really cool kind of "carnival" atmosphere in there. Would recommend to go with 6-12 year olds. If alone, that's great too, just make sure you're ready for childish jokes and annoying kid's laughing sounds every now and then...
We've came up from Florida. And this is a great place to go very educational. The kids loved it and there's a lot of artifacts. And there's also a lot of extra things that you can do. A lot of things that you didn't think could be possible that's possible. Overall it is a very interesting and educational place to go.
I love this show! It is worth every penny!! The people in the show are so talented and entertaining! It is funny and exciting! Not only do they have amazing water skiing, but the second act is comedy and thrills! One word for this show... AMAZING!
Place was amazing!! Staff are all great and always so smiley, welcoming, and happy like they love their job! Just the way it should be❤️ The show is def worth it! Get the seats as close as possible to truly enjoy! VIP even!! The guys on the bikes towards the end and the small guy had me cracking up! The water ski people are awesome to see and the amazing plane was super cool. Can’t post pics cause I mostly did video! Must see show though!
Great show, great price. Food is spendy but that's any public event/attraction. The employees were very friendly and respectful. The show was stunning and some parts will keep you on your toes, you don't wanna look away!
It was pretty cool
Grand kids and us all had a great time. Night time show is always the best. All the acts were totally cool!
Took the family here. Good old-fashioned family entertainment, appropriate for all ages. We really enjoyed it and our sons did as well!
This was such a treat. A good live show that has been and will continue to be popular for many decades. The entire experience starting in the parking lot, to the food and beverage vendors was amazingly fun and entertaining. It's a must in the Wisconsin Dells.
My 4 year old loved this show. My husband and I even enjoyed it. It lasted way longer than I thought and had a lot of variety. We we're lucky and had beautiful weather too.
The Tommy Bartlett show lived up to its reputation of being a "must see" attraction in the Dells. Make sure to check your coupon books as they have some great deals in the books. The skill level on the water was impressive. They had traditional water skiing along with newer fads like air chair, barefooting and the jet boots. The jet boot performer made it look easy! The second half of the show was also good with a juggler, comedian and a few other surprises.
The outdoor show is cloa we d. However the science museum was very interesting.
We loved this show! Well worth it! Our kids loved it and were excited to see all of the different acts. My husband did not really want to go and even he said he was glad he did! A great way to spend an evening with the family!
The first half was awesome. Serious skills, especially the boat drivers. The hang glider was awesome. The clown was funny. We left after the motorcycles in the ball of death though because it turned into a unicycle/juggling show.
Absolutely fabulous. We went to the evening show. We all really enjoyed the interaction. The part where the guy becomes a human kite is phenomenal.
Very good show. We got tickets through our hotel we stayed at so I'm not sure if go if I had to pay full price. But the comedy, the stunts, and the overall entertainment make this a 'must see' in my opinion. They have so many various acts, both on and off the water.I had even saw this show once before years ago when Lake Delton had tragically drained. Even then they kept the show great with all 'off water' acts
Awesome Show the performers are excellent. When you leave there will be a leaflet on your vehicle with a coupon for Mt.Olympus Wet Park and Theme park for free admission up to 6 people all you have to do is pay $20 for parking.
It was a great show for the whole family, we had free tickets to the show thanks to Wilderness resort they give your entire group a pass to the show for staying with them.. The show is 2 parts the first is water acts & second part is different onstage entertainment from people in metal cages riding motorcycles to comedy acts. Its a 90 minute show with a 20 minute intermission we had pretty great seats right by the stage in the second row I wanted to sit in the front row but hubby didn't want to 😁 We had a really good time & will definitely be back next year to see what they have.
Awesome show... I just wish they would change it up a little. They do the exact same things every year
Even more entertaining than expected! It's a real variety show. Our three generation family all thought it was great!
The venue for this show is awesome. The whole experience starts off really impressive. You're amped up and excited, you get your tickets and walk down a forested path to the stadium type seating. There is a little gift shop area and vendor style foods like nachos, pretzels and beer (all fairly priced). The show starts and it is all around kind of a let down. The music is dated, the costumes and clothes of the performers look like their from the 90s, and the emcee or host isn't really that funny. The show is broken into two segments with an intermission (a water portion and then a land portion). We left halfway through the land portion. Maybe for kids this show is great, but we will not be back. Again, the venue is awesome though. Too bad they don't host concerts or comedians.
Enjoyed a trip to the Tommy Bartlett Water Show with family this week. I had attended back in the early 80s and not much has changed over the years. The only thing I remember being different were the acts in the 2nd half after intermission. Good clean family entertainment. Really enjoyed the flying man act.
Good show, wish we did the daytime so you could see more...thought they had fireworks so did lumberjacks in the day and this at night should have been the other way but both were great old time cheesy fun
OMG this place was so cool, I went on my vacation. They are so good. That have cool tricks. I recommend the night show. That's the one I went to and it was really awesome!
A bit antiquated, but good entertainment for a couple hours. Second side show part feels a bit forced. If you get complimentary tickets from your hotel such as the Wilderness Resort, do not purchase the optional $3.20 upgrade seats. If it is a weekday show, they are likely to upgrade you anyway free of charge.
We enjoyed this show way more then we thought we would. It is a great way to spend a few hours. I highly recommend it.
Awesome water show! I would highly recommend the 4:30 show to those with kiddos, the only difficulty you might run into is after intermission there is a brief motorcycle/dirt bike part that isn't too loud. It's very fun, every seat is a great one and the snacks are tasty!
Good time with family. Place gets crowded. They have two parts of the show. First part is water show and second part is non-water activities. We almost left after the first half not knowing there are two halves. Second half is not very entertaining.
Very enjoyable piece of Americana. Show was enjoyable. Second half stage show very entertaining.
First time there, enjoyed the show well worth the money. My kids laugh and had a great time. Definitely go there again.
Family fun and keeps the kids entertained. Enjoyable for the entire show
We got free tickets with a hotel stay. Would have been more than happy to pay to see the show. My 4 and 7 year old had a good time.
Very cool. The staff was very friendly. Great for the whole family.
Phenomenal show! Got in for free while staying at the Kalahari. It is a show however, which i would be more that willing to pay $60+ to see. The talent of the performers in this show is simply off the charts. This is a must see for anyone visiting The Dells.
We were surprised how entertaining the show was. The water ski show is the first half. The second half is all on stage. The bleacher seats were fine I didn't feel like we missed out on anything. If the weather is bad or questionable the bleacher seats are the only ones that are covered.
The show is really fun. I went with a camp and it did not disappoint. The water interaction is really interesting.
Awesome show! I've seen this a number of times over the past 20 years and it always amazes. Took my own children to it this time around!
Best show in town. Have been going there for years. The owner is one of the nicest ever. The person who says the owner is rude was probably born with a chip on his shoulder. Great place to go and have fun.
The ski show in the first half of the show is dated & old fashion. Seems to be relying on tradition a little too much. It's time to update the types of tricks and music they use in the ski show. The 🤡 clown Aqua the Clown continues to entertain the kids, but even he needs some new jokes. The second half of the show was filled with lots of fun. The juggler & his son, who have been there forever, still entertain the crowd & continue to be funny even doing the same tricks & jokes they have done for years. Tonight they finished out the show with a new act that was smaller but really ended with a wonderful trick. They had the whole crowd cheering. They were a gymnastics trio that were fun to watch. The show certainly needs new blood but it does still hold a place in my heart.
Great show - there is a reason the Tommy Bartlett Show is world-famous. Excellent water skiing and acrobatics. Definitely worth taking in at least once if you are in the area!
We had so much fun. My kids had a blast with everything. They said it was the best thing we did in the Dells.
Fun nostalgic evening! More than just skiing! Show kept moving at a fast pace, keeping it interesting through out! There are concessions available, including hot dogs, ice cream, and cotton candy!
I recommend this show to just everyone. Wisconsin Dells by itself is a big entertainment town and the Tommy Bartlett show is feather in the cap. The seating arrangement was really nice. The performers of the show were experts and there was a funny man too to entertain the audience. There was so much thrill in the performances and I was just more than happy to see one of these shows. There were very good staff members in multicolored caps and costumes who were selling snacks and beers and I loved their announcements. Outside the venue, there is huge parking space and there were volunteers to help with the parking.
This show sports a blast from the past atmosphere juxtaposed over modern technology and relatively current music. The main attraction is pretty impressive. That's a lot of crazy tricks to be pulling on water-skis at night. It ends up being kind of a variety show, as the second half of the festivities didn't involve water tricks at all, but some pretty rad motorcycles in a giant hamster ball thing, a pair of juggling, unicycle riding brothers (I think) who also do a bit of comedy and general tomfoolery. Very family friendly, with a certain percentage of the show aimed squarely at the kiddos. 3.5 stars.
I remember it being better when I was younger. The staff that works there is all very nice and helpful. The on land show part is not really my favorite. I love the old acts where they had the people on top of the big wheel and the older man who used to tell jokes and flip cups onto his head.
Show was good. Best parts were aqua the clown and the hang glider? Everything else was about as expected. Glad to see Liam was okay though after his ski broke.
I.went to Tommy Bartlett’s water show over 100 times with my mom and dad and even after there passing. I have even taken my kids there. It is a wonderful place for kids and grown ups all ages will have fun. Remember to cheer loudly and often to show your love the performers will love it and your shows are always great. I’m in California now I sure wish I could get my family back out there again sure miss it. Love to Tommy Bartlett’s water show
Has been 30+ years, but I remember seeing the show when I was my kid's ages! The water show was great. The stage show, hasn't changed much. Both of my kids enjoyed it very much! Surprised to see TJ still doing the stage show! Well worth the money and the experience!
Excellent show, we've been 3 times. I prefer the evening show over the daytime show
